Hi ,
I really enjoyed your game ! It's amazing. I'm playing it in English, but as a Japanese player, I'd love to see a Japanese translation added in the future.
Best regards
made me cry crocodile tears. i relate a lot to andy's bad habits & inability to fix conflict (don't worry, readers, i've already gone on my own character growth arc). i'm sure a lot of fellow wlw can relate too in a way i don't see explored a lot & i'm glad i can at least do a queer read of this even if it wasnt intended to be. that is to say, not as an unrequited love narrative, but the weird protective and selfish feelings the insecure baby lesbo can have about their truly platonic friends that they're always seeing fall in and out of bad relationships with men. obviously anyone can be afraid of friends getting too preoccupied with partners to have time for them, but there's a certain potent mix of possessiveness i feel like can arise out of internalized misogyny mixing w the lesbian experience - men arent good enough for MY bestie, and also, don't all women stop talking to their friends when they get married? what about me?! its not a GOOD feeling to have, and dating men is fine, but try explaining that to a sad teen!! really beautiful experience with or without a queer reading :)) i don't want to say too much about the contents since its pretty short but definitely give it a go if you have 30 minutes to get really emo!
Hi! I love the concept of the game! I am a professional translator looking to grow my portfolio and I was wondering if you'd be interested in translating the game into Spanish (LatAm). Feel free to contact me any time!
I'm writing this review right after crying my eyes out from this game. Having enjoyed Shark and Pelican's previous games, I was really excited about this one, and it did not disappoint! I'll try to gather my messy thoughts in this little review (Minor spoilers):
- The writing was wonderful, a mix between comedic moments and sadness, both working perfectly together. I laughed at some of Fishy's comments, at the Ratz doll, at "Flame Man" appearing right after I was ready to cry. And then the nightmares, the memories and the ending... it drove (ha) straight through my heart and I was shedding tears by the end.
- As always, the art is gorgeous, and I loved how much of it there is. The moving backgrounds to add to that feeling of motion with the car was great, and I liked that it had different versions as they got further on their way.
- I also loved all the food! And you've made me very hungry for a cheeseburger. Loved having so many options, even if it's just for one scene I like small things like that!
Now, something with bigger spoilers of the ending, as I'd like to comment more on how I felt!
Friendships are very important to me, and the thought of losing them, especially now, always frightens me. So playing this story involving two best friends who drifted apart was certain to hit deep. I kept wondering whether Andy would turn back, whether she'd get there and how Bora would react... and then they were late. They did not see each other again. We get to see what Andy felt could have happened if she had been at the wedding, we see that even if she wasn't there, Bora was happy. It was really sad to me, but also nice to see Andy working through her feelings, and understanding her own faults and to let go. After one final dance, she also lets her shared imaginary friend go, what remained of her connection to Bora.
It was certainly bittersweet, but I liked it a lot. A part of me still wishes that Andy may send a message to Bora apologizing, now understanding better why she felt like that. But I also can see that she was meant to let her go. Maybe with this, she can better herself and pursue her dreams, maybe make new friends? There is a whole world of possibilities for Andy, and it's nice to imagine!
Thank you for making another beautiful game!
This game hit me so hard. I giggled, and I thought hard, and I cried. This story hurts. But in a good way. It kept not being what I expected, but was also so much more
Thank you for making this
This is one of the most games I've played in a long, long time. (I couldn't find the right adjective, but Fishy has me heart and Andy has my hope). I'm one day in, and it gives me melancholy and delight in equal measure. Thus far, I would highly recommend this to any player (and their Fishy, if applicable).
(I had a slight issue playing it on Mac, despite your directions: I had to open my security settings to get it to play. I've had it do that with other apps before, but it could just be my computer being fussy).
I'm not crying, you're crying
This was a deeply weird and deeply enjoyable VN. I can definitely tell it’s a labor of love - there’s so much attention to little details!
Congrats on winning best student work for the NarraScope 2025 Showcase - well deserved imo! <3
I can't install this from the itch client, due to
![]()
If it's not too much trouble, please mark the downloadable files in the Edit Project tab
Sorry for the bother, it's just that the client really helps me keep on top of things like updates and actually remembering what games I have installed.
Thanks for the catch - should work now! :)
...Cheese borger.
